Bread Machine Multigrain Loaf
Plug in your bread machine. Here's a delicious way to enjoy grains.
Ingredients
1 1/2-Pound (12 Slices)
- 1 1/4cups water
- 2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/3cups Gold Medal™ Bread Flour
- 1 1/3cups Gold Medal™ Whole Wheat Flour
- 1cup 7-grain or multigrain hot cereal (uncooked)
- 3tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 1/4teaspoons salt
- 2 1/2teaspoons bread machine yeast
2-Pound (16 Slices)
- 1 1/2cups water
- 2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2cups Gold Medal™ Bread Flour
- 1 1/2cups Gold Medal™ Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 1/4cups 7-grain or multigrain hot cereal (uncooked)
- 1/4cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2teaspoons salt
- 2 1/2teaspoons bread machine yeast*
Steps
- 1Make 1 1/2-pound recipe with bread machines that use 3 cups flour, or make 2-pound recipe with bread machines that use 4 cups flour.
- 2Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
- 3Select Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Remove baked bread from pan; cool on cooling rack.
